Infiltrator killed by army in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar (IANS) | An infiltrator was gunned down by the Army along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Saturday. Officials said an infiltrator tried to cross over into the Indian side of the LoC in Mendhar sector of Poonch district today. He was shot dead by the army. Explosives and narcotics were recovered from his possession.

A search is now underway in the area, officials said.
