Indore Water Contamination Mayor Says Informed Of 10 Deaths

The issue of contaminated drinking water is causing serious concern in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, which claims to be the cleanest city in the country. Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava said on Friday that 10 people have died so far in this incident in Bhagirathpura. He said that these deaths have occurred due to diarrhea after drinking contaminated water.
They said that the drinking water collected from Bhagirathpura was sent to the lab for testing. It was revealed that the lab report confirmed that this situation arose due to drinking contaminated water. Municipal officials said that the drinking water in the area was contaminated due to pipeline leakage. In this incident, more than 100 locals are undergoing treatment in the hospital with health problems.
