Indore: Three accused arrested with MD drugs worth Rs 1.11 crore

Indore: Indore Narcotics Wing of Madhya Pradesh has taken a major action and seized 1 kg 11 grams of MD drugs from three interstate smugglers, which is said to be worth Rs 1 crore 11 lakh. Actually, Indore Narcotics Wing had received information from an informer that a large quantity of 1 kg 100 grams of MD drugs was being taken from Mandsaur to Mumbai in a loading pickup vehicle.
The team of Mandsaur Narcotics Wing under the leadership of DIG Mahesh Chand surrounded the pickup vehicle at Mandsaur Neemuch Mirzapur Fata as per the information of the informer and on searching the vehicle, succeeded in seizing 1 kg 11 grams of MD drugs from the possession of three accused Shamsuddin, Yamin Khan and Sameer Sheikh. The seized MD drugs were being transported hidden under garlic sacks, however, the value of the seized MD is said to be Rs 1 crore 11 lakh. During interrogation, the accused told that MD drugs were being taken from Mandsaur to Mumbai. The arrested accused had fled with 41 kg of opium.
