Indore: The grand festival of non-resident Indoreans showcases the city’s culture and global aspirations.

Madhya Pradesh: The city of Indore witnessed a grand and spectacular NRI Mahaparv-4, organized by the Indore NRI Forum under the chairmanship of Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav. The event was held with great enthusiasm and true Indori spirit, bringing together over 250 Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from 27 countries who reaffirmed their emotional and developmental connection with the city.
The day-long program began in the morning at the Yashwant Club with traditional Indian games, where Mayor Bhargav actively participated alongside the NRIs in games like Gilli-Danda, Kabaddi, kite flying, Lagori, and spinning tops. The warmth of Indori hospitality was evident through the traditional local breakfast served, adding a cultural touch to the event. The main evening program was held at Daly College, where a special video showcasing Indore’s culture, values, and growing global identity was screened. An annual yearbook highlighting the Mayor’s year-long initiatives and achievements was also released.
A key highlight of the Mahaparv was the panel discussion, where NRIs openly raised questions and shared suggestions related to Indore’s future. Topics such as real estate, IT investments, healthcare expansion, industrial development, medical tourism, AI readiness, and long-term residential planning were discussed in detail. Mayor Bhargav addressed the questions, emphasizing inclusive development and global collaboration.
