IndiGo Flight: An IndiGo flight from Abu Dhabi to Delhi was diverted to Muscat airport in Oman early Monday due to a technical problem. Confirming the incident, an IndiGo spokesperson attributed the diversion to a technical problem and assured that necessary measures are being taken to facilitate the travel of passengers. “IndiGo flight 6E 1406 from Abu Dhabi to Delhi was diverted to Muscat due to a technical problem. The aircraft will return to operations after necessary maintenance. Customers have been offered hotel accommodation in Muscat and alternate arrangements are being made to facilitate their travel to their destination. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to the passengers,” said an IndiGo spokesperson. According to a Times of India report, passengers on board the flight noticed vibrations in the aircraft soon after takeoff. Describing the sequence of events, a passenger on the flight, which had 129 passengers and six crew members, mentioned a 40-minute delay during takeoff. “Even at the time of takeoff, the plane vibrated a lot. Some passengers sitting in the emergency exit row heard a sound like a door opening and closing. For the next one hour, the seat belt sign was not broken and everyone remained seated. Later, the pilot announced that there was some technical problem and we were heading to Muscat,” the passenger said.
