Glasgow: In the final held at SEC Hall 5 on Saturday, India’s Preeti delivered a stellar performance to win the gold medal in the women’s 54kg boxing event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. She defeated Canada’s S.S. Delgado via a unanimous 5-0 decision.

Preeti maintained her dominance right from the start of the bout. All five judges awarded her 10-9 scores across all three rounds, resulting in an impressive 30-27 victory.
