Indian citizen killed in terrorist attack, use of anti-tank missile
New Delhi: One Indian citizen has died while two others are injured in an anti-tank missile attack in Israel. These three Indians are residents of Kerala. It is being said that this attack was carried out by the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah. The Indian national killed in Monday’s attack on a plantation on the northern Israeli border has been identified as 31-year-old Pat Nibin Maxwell, a resident of Kerala. Maxwell came to Israel about two months ago and worked as a laborer in a farm there.
Maxwell is survived by his wife and five-year-old daughter. His wife is seven months pregnant. At the same time, the other two Indians injured in the attack have been identified as Bush Joseph George and Paul Melvin. Pathros Maxwell, father of Maxwell, who was killed in a missile attack in Israel, said that his daughter-in-law had called him and told him that his son had met with an accident. Later I was informed about my son’s death. I have three sons, two of whom work in Israel while one works in Abu Dhabi. Pat has a five-year-old daughter while his wife is seven months pregnant.
The Israeli Embassy in India expressed condolence over the death of the Indian citizen and said that all possible and best treatment is being given to those injured in this attack. The attack took place at around 11 am on Monday in a garden in the Galilee area on the northern Israeli border. One of the injured, George, has sustained burn injuries in the missile attack. George has been admitted to the nearby Bellinson Hospital due to burn injuries in the missile attack. His face is burnt. He is being operated on but is recovering. He has been kept under observation. He can talk to his family in India. Meanwhile, Melvin has suffered minor injuries and has been admitted to Ziv Hospital in Northern Israel. He is a resident of Idukki, Kerala.
