India vs New Zealand 2nd ODI: KL Rahul’s brilliant century guides host to 284

Rajkot: India set a 285 target for New Zealand in the 2nd ODI match at Niranjan Shah Stadium in in Rajkot of Gujarat. It is a must win match for the Kiwis.
New Zealand invited India to bat first and skipper Shubhman and Rohit scored 56 runs and 24 runs respectively. With this, Shubhman Gill can be seen coming back to his form after his neck injury due to which he was ruled out of the last ODI series against South Africa.
KL Rahul scored an amazing hundred guiding India to 284 for 7. Virat Kohli who came to bat at number 3 started with a beautiful cover drive which hits the boundry, he contributed 23 runs out of 29 balls before getting bowled out due to wrong shot selection and pitch activity ball couldn’t bounce well.
Washington Sundar has been replaced by Nitish Kumar Reddy due to injury in first ODI match of the series.
New Zealand’s score so far is 111 runs with two wickets gone in just 24 overs with Daryl Mitchell and Will Young batting on the field.
