IMFA employee dies under mysterious circumstances!

Cuttack: An employee of the Choudwar-based Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) Ltd died under mysterious circumstances today.

The deceased employee was identified as Rakesh Muduli of Changudia village in Banipada area of Cuttack district. He was working as welder for the last 10 years.

While he was doing his duty today, Muduli allegedly collapsed all of a sudden, following which he was rushed to the local ESI Hospital where doctor declared him dead.

Following Muduli’s death, tension prevailed on the premises of the ESI Hospital as some of his relatives and family members, who reached the hospital after getting information about his death, created a commotion.

Later, they rushed to the IMFA office and sat on a dharna infront of the gate demanding a fair and impartial investigation into the mysterious death of Muduli, who had newly married. They also sought for an adequate compensation over his death.

A team of police from Choudwar police station reached the spot on being informed an initiated a probe into the matter.
