IMA delegation met CM Sai

Raipur. The delegation of Indian Medical Association met Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai at CM House and discussed various issues. During this, he was told that the currently running trust model for treatment through Ayushman Bharat card was actually the idea of the previous BJP government, but during that time the government changed and the then government implemented it. Therefore this mode should not be changed. The Chief Minister assured to think positively on this. The IMA delegation said that the work had already been given to different insurance companies twice and both times this approach had proved unsuccessful. It is the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to treat all the poor of the state.

He said, apart from this, in order to save money, they are reluctant to approve even the cases of genuine patients, due to which the treatment of the patients has to be stopped midway. Hospitals across Chhattisgarh have agreed to work on this trust mode. The state IMA delegation also drew the Chief Minister’s attention to the crisis caused by non-payment of the pending amount of Ayushman Bharat. The delegation said that due to non-payment of Ayushman Bharat funds, many hospitals are on the verge of closure. Bank loans are increasing. In such a situation, this scheme will fail in Chhattisgarh.
