IIT Hyderabad Student Gets Rs 2.5 Crore Job Offer Highest Ever For The Institute

A Hyderabadi boy achieved a rare feat at the age of 21. He received a job offer with a starting salary of Rs. 2.5 crore. Edward Nathan Varghese, a 21-year-old student studying B.Tech Computers in the final year of IIT Hyderabad, achieved this feat. He achieved this feat even before completing his engineering. Edward broke the previous record of the highest package (Rs. 1 crore) for IITH.

Finally, in 2017, a student at IITH received the highest salary of Rs. 1 crore. Usually, young IITians here receive salaries ranging from Rs. 60 lakh to Rs. 90 lakh. Unlike this, Edward is going to receive a package that is three to four times higher. Edward was offered this offer by a global trading company called Optiver, based in the Netherlands. According to this, he will have to join the company next July. Another special thing here is that.. Edward did not get this package in a campus placement. Some time ago, he did a two-month summer internship at Optiver, and this offer was given in appreciation of his talent.

Edward was born and raised in Hyderabad. He studied in Bangalore from class 7 to 12. Edward said that he got this success because he prepared in advance because companies come to IITs a lot, but the opportunities and salaries are a bit low. Edward said that he was in the top 100 in India in a competition related to computer programming in the past. The institute revealed that another student from IIT Hyderabad has received a package offer of Rs. 1.1 crore.
