Ingredients to make Indori Poha
Poha – 2 cups
Onion – 1
Green chili – 3-4
Green coriander – 3-4 tbsp
Pomegranate seeds – 1/2 cup
Curry leaves – 10-15
Peas – 1/2 cup
Rai – 1 tsp
Saunf – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Lemon – 1
Sev – 1/4 cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt to taste

Indori Poha Recipe
If you want to make Indori style poha for breakfast, first clean the poha and wash it with water 2-3 times and keep the soaked poha in a sieve. After some time the excess water present in the poha will drain out. Meanwhile, finely chop green coriander, green chillies and onions. Now put oil in the pan and heat it. As soon as the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds, whole coriander, asafoetida and fennel and fry for a few seconds. When the mustard starts crackling, add curry leaves and finely chopped onions. Now fry the spices and onions while stirring. Fry it till the color of onion turns light pink. Meanwhile, add turmeric, sugar and salt to taste to the soaked poha and mix well with your hands. After this, put poha in the pan and mix it well in the spices. If needed, you can also sprinkle some water on the poha so that the poha becomes soft. Now cook the poha while stirring for 2-3 minutes. After this, turn off the gas and keep the poha covered for 2 minutes, so that the poha becomes soft with the steam. After this, take out the poha in a plate and serve after adding finely chopped onions, pomegranate seeds, green coriander and seven.
