IEW 2025 will be the second largest energy event globally- Hardeep Singh Puri

New Delhi New Delhi: Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri while addressing the inaugural ceremony in Mumbai on Friday said that India Energy Week 2025 will be the world’s second largest energy event in terms of participation, exhibition space and sessions. IEW 2025, to be held on February 11-14, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, promises unmatched global participation of ministers, CEOs and industry leaders, setting new benchmarks in the energy sector. This will be the third edition.

Interacting with the media, the minister highlighted the Clean Cooking Ministerial Conference to be held during IEW 2025. The event will serve as an important platform to strengthen collaborative efforts to accelerate the global adoption of clean cooking solutions. India’s successful Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) will be at the centre, showcasing valuable insights and best practices as a global template to address energy access challenges.

IEW 2025 is set to achieve a significant increase in scale and participation compared to previous editions. The exhibition space will grow by 65 percent to 28,000 square meters, while the number of conference sessions will increase to 105 and the number of global delegates will exceed 70,000. More than 500 speakers, including leading international voices, will participate, reflecting the growing global importance of the event.
The conference will also feature 10 country pavilions from major countries such as the US, UK, Russia, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as eight thematic areas focusing on hydrogen, renewable energy, biofuels and petrochemicals. The event will be attended by more than 20 foreign energy ministers or deputy ministers, heads of international organisations and 90 CEOs of Fortune 500 energy companies.
