IAS Samarth Verma to get married to IAS Swadha Dev Singh
Bhubaneswar: Yet another IAS couple is set to tie the knot soon, say reports. The Puri Collector Samarth Verma is all set to get married to Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh.
According to reports, the wedding between the two IAS officers will take place at Samarth Verma’s native place in Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh on May 15, 2023.
Earlier, Swadha Dev Singh was married to Bolangir Collector Chanchal Rana, who is now married to Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das. On the other hand, Verma is also separated from his first wife who is a senior Indian railways officer, Suchi Singh.
It is worth mentioning that, Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das was earlier married to Koraput Collector Abdaal Akhtar and Chanchal Rana was earlier married to Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh.
IAS Samarth Verma and IAS Swadha Dev Singh had earlier divorced their spouses Suchi Singh and Chanchal Rana respectively, said reliable reports.
Some senior officials, servants have been invited to the wedding. After the Ratha yatra second coordination meeting on May 6, the Puri District Collector will go on leave for the impending marriage. On the other hand, it has been reported that Rayagada District Magistrate is going on leave for marriage from May 7.
According to available information, the 2011 batch IAS officer Samarth Verma had previously served as Kendrapara District Magistrate, BMC Commissioner, Rayagada PDDI and Sambalpur District Magistrate.
Similarly, Rayagada District Collector Swadha Dev Singh previously served as Nuapada District Collector and in Rourkela as an Additional District Collector.
