‘I was hit on head with an iron box and when I fell I saw blood on my forehead’: Manju Warrier

The audience has seen Manju’s action scenes in the movies The Priest, Jack N Jill and Thunivu. Manju Warrier has now shared her experience of getting injured while shooting one such action scene. The actress got injured in a scene where she got hit on her head with an iron box. The actress explained this during a TV program.”There was a scene in Jack N Jill where I get hit on the head with an iron box. A dummy iron box was used while shooting but its plugpin and wire were original. When the director said action, the guy who played the villain hit me on the head with the iron box. The plugpin came around the wire and hit my forehead. In the scene, I should fall after getting hit. When I fell like that, I saw blood coming from my forehead. I held back until the director said cut. I got up as soon as it was yelled cut. Everyone was really scared. I was taken to the hospital immediately,” said Manju.
