She said: I wanted to be a dancer, but acting happened suddenly. I just gave my shot in an audition and got selected..and then my journey started.
Talking about the success of the show and how viewers related to Sumbul Touqueer as Imlie joining the show, Megha said that there was a lot of pressure on her to carve her niche. As he said: Definitely because Imlie was already a hit. The makers wanted some changes in the story and it was a pressure to keep Imlie as before and maintain TRPs. I am trying to keep the audience happy and we as a new team are trying to give our best.
Megha, who has done shows like ‘Badi Devrani’, ‘Krishna Chali London’, said there is a lot of competition in the industry and achieving success is not easy. There is fierce competition in every field. You have to face rejection many times and sometimes you don’t understand the reasons. It’s all part of our job. There is nepotism in this industry as well and some people get jobs easily. But later, he will also have to prove his mettle. It is easy for them to get roles and later, the talent exposure depends on them.
People like us, who are not from the industry, find it difficult to establish a foothold due to less contacts. There is a lot of competition in TV too but newcomers are also given a chance so it is a healthy competition. To survive for a long time it is necessary to be talented.
Megha, who is a very good dancer, is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan has always inspired me and I am a big fan of his work. I never thought that I would become an actor, but ever since I became one, I always wanted to learn from him. I watch every interview of Shah Rukh Khan and it inspires me a lot.
