The new DGP CV Anand congratulated Shivdhar Reddy, who retired today. Speaking on the occasion, CV Anand said.. Shivdhar Reddy has rendered invaluable service to the people of the state as a police officer for 32 years. I have seen Shivdhar Reddy very closely. He has overcome many challenges in a united state. He has provided services in Naxalism-prone areas. He has played a key role in many key victories, encounters & surrender of Naxalites. He has implemented many welfare schemes for police families.
Operation Kagar was a success. Shivdhar Reddy played a key role in seizing a large number of Maoist weapons and surrendering many Maoists. Our police have a great responsibility in protecting the honor of Telangana state. In 1990, we faced many problems like communal problems and Naxalism. Now their nature has changed. Traffic & Narcotics, Drugs & Cyber problem has spread.
The city has expanded & the population has expanded. They want to be ready to face problems. The working of Greyhound, SIB Cyber Security Bureau should be improved. Greyhound SIB should be taken forward in the development of old institutions. There are police officers who have worked with me since 2016. Let us move forward with full responsibility & teamwork. Officers, please share your thoughts. They called on the people to maintain the trust they have in the department.
