Hyderabad: Woman returning home in auto-rickshaw sexually assaulted

Hyderabad: Two men sexually assaulted a housewife in Alwal. The victim, who hails from Yapral, was returning home in an auto rickshaw when she went to Alwal police station on Friday night. An official from Alwal police station said, “The auto rickshaw driver stopped the vehicle near a liquor shop. Two men allegedly forcibly entered the auto rickshaw and took the woman to a deserted place. The victim told us that a car was parked at the deserted place and two men dragged her into the car, where she was sexually assaulted by two men.”
The woman told the police that she managed to escape from them and reached a residential colony with the help of an auto rickshaw driver, from where she reported the incident to the police control room. The Bollaram police first registered a case and later transferred the matter to Alwal police station on jurisdictional grounds. The police are investigating the matter and trying to identify the suspects.
