Hyderabad: Uttam said, Telangana government demands sitting judge for KLIS investigation

Hyderabad: Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy said the state government has asked the Telangana High Court to reserve a sitting judge to probe the already announced judicial inquiry into the construction of the project. Kaleshwaram.

In an official statement here, the minister said the way the previous BRS government had implemented the project was thoroughly reviewed along with other irrigation projects last month. Senior officials of the department also gave a PowerPoint presentation on Medigadda Barrage after the stock-taking exercise conducted recently. Facts and figures related to the sinking of the Medigadda bombing were presented to the media and the general public. The issue of the Palamuru Ranga Reddy project, which was pending environmental clearance, was raised with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat during the Chief Minister’s visit to Delhi.
