Hyderabad: Truck driver abused for parking vehicle at wrong place
Hyderabad: Cyberabad traffic police abused a truck driver for parking his vehicle at the wrong place. The incident took place near Gandi Maisamma in Quthbullapur when Traffic Sub Inspector Yadagiri of Jeedimetla Traffic Police Station asked the truck driver to stop the vehicle. The driver went a little ahead and parked the vehicle. This angered the sub inspector and he started abusing the driver. He did not stop at that and asked a policeman to take the driver to the police station and teach him a lesson. The video of the incident went viral on social media and drew criticism from several quarters.
BRS party working president and former IT minister KT Rama Rao condemned the police’s behaviour. Rama Rao tagged Telangana DGP and said: “What rubbish language is this? Is this behaviour acceptable? Please remember that it is the citizens who pay salaries to policemen and officials.” My tweet is not just about one incident, but I have seen many videos on social media where the police are behaving in a very inappropriate manner with citizens. I hope you will conduct awareness classes to change the behavior of policemen who are in direct contact with citizens.”
