Hyderabad: Suspecting an affair, a man beheaded his wife and murdered her

Hyderabad: A man killed his beheaded wife on Tuesday evening in Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of the city. Around evening, Vinay (43) along with his wife Pushpalatha (41) reached JNNURM Colony in Abdullapurmet. “The suspect took his wife to the vacant apartment assigned to his sister under the pretext of cleaning. Here I beheaded Pushpalatha with a knife”, said Bhim Reddy, ACP Vanasthalipuram. After receiving the information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to the body depot of Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered under section 302 of IPC. “We are investigating all aspects of the case. “We will find out the exact motive by interrogating the suspect,” the ACP said. It was revealed that Vinay and his wife had regular fights because the man suspected her of having an affair with another man.
