Hyderabad: Pleasant weather since morning, possibility of light rain

Hyderabad: Residents of Hyderabad woke up to breezy and pleasant weather on Thursday morning, with cloudy skies expected throughout the day. Though widespread rainfall is not expected, the city is likely to witness light rains late in the evening or night. According to data from the Telangana Development and Planning Society, the temperature hovered between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius by noon. The city is expected to experience persistent surface winds with a speed of 30-40 kmph, which will keep the atmosphere cool.

The IMD has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers at a few places in Telangana on Thursday. This weather pattern is expected to continue with sporadic rainfall in the state till July 7. Meanwhile, from July 6 or 7, a low pressure area (LPA) will start exerting influence over the northern and eastern districts of Telangana. This development is expected to bring frequent rains, potentially bringing relief from drought. Residents are encouraged to keep up with the weather updates and take necessary precautions during thunderstorms and strong winds.
