Hyderabad: Minor girl molested in moving train
Hyderabad: A minor girl was molested and sexually assaulted by a man on board the Raxaul-Secunderabad Express. The incident took place on Wednesday, when the girl was travelling in the train with her family from Odisha and went to the washroom around 2 am on reaching Keljar in Maharashtra. According to information available, when the girl went to the washroom, the suspect followed her and harassed her. He misbehaved with her and recorded the act on his mobile phone.
The worried girl immediately informed her parents. On reaching the Secunderabad railway station, the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with the Government Railway Police (GRP), who registered a case and said it would be handed over to the local police depending on the jurisdiction. The girl was taken to Gandhi Hospital for medical examination. Efforts are being made to nab the suspect.
