Hyderabad: Man arrested for killing pregnant wife in domestic dispute

Hyderabad: Kushaiguda police on Wednesday arrested Sachin Satyanarayana (30) for allegedly killing his pregnant wife Sneha in their house earlier this month. The incident, which took place on January 15, came to light on Tuesday when the house owner started smelling a foul smell in the house. The couple, who had a love marriage, were staying in a rented house in Kushaiguda.

Sachin Satyanarayana often quarrelled with Sneha over petty issues, including financial issues, and had started doubting her fidelity since she got pregnant recently, police said. It is suspected that after one such argument, Sachin Satyanarayana, in a drunken state, thrashed Sneha and sat on her stomach, causing injuries and leading to her instant death. The foetus also came out due to the impact. He was produced in court and sent to judicial custody. Kushaiguda police are investigating.
