Hyderabad: Employees attack family over biryani quality dispute

Hyderabad: Five members of a family were allegedly attacked after they objected to the quality of biryani at a hotel in Abids in the city on Sunday night.

The family of eight had gone to the hotel and ordered jumbo biryani. After the biryani was served, customers complained that it was not cooked properly.

Customers unhappy with the perceived quality of the food were leaving the hotel when an argument broke out over payment of the bill.

A heated argument broke out between the waiters and customers, following which the waiters armed with pipes and other items attacked the customers, including women, injuring them.

On information, Abid Road police reached the spot and took two people into custody.
