Husband has become a beast! When he did not get physical pleasure, he murdered his wife

Bilaspur. In Bilaspur, a man strangled his wife to death. It is being told that the wife had refused to have physical relationship, which displeased the husband. To escape from his family and the police, he created a false story of death due to low blood pressure and falling into the barn due to dizziness. On the basis of suspicion, the police conducted postmortem of the woman’s body. The report confirmed murder by strangulation. After this the police arrested the accused husband. The accused has confessed to his crime. The incident took place 6 days ago in Ratanpur police station area. Ratanpur police station in-charge Devesh Singh Rathore said that Savni Bai Patel (38), resident of Bhondlapara, had died under suspicious circumstances on the night of 10 February. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot on the morning of 11 February. During interrogation, husband Roopchand Patel (39) told that his wife had gone towards Bari at night.

When she did not return for about half an hour, he went into the courtyard. There he saw his wife’s dead body lying there. He told the police that he had low blood pressure. Earlier too she used to get dizzy and fall, but this time she lost her life. Even her family members did not express any apprehension over the woman’s death. Even after this, on the basis of suspicion, the police conducted postmortem of the dead body. After postmortem the family performed the last rites. Here the police was waiting for the postmortem report. On Friday, the doctor’s report confirmed murder by strangulation. After this, the police took husband Roopchand into custody and interrogated him. During interrogation, accused Roopchand told that he was under the influence of alcohol. He demanded physical relations from his wife. The wife refused to have sex citing her physical problems. At around 10.30 pm she went out towards the courtyard. He also followed him, then strangled him to death with a pot in the courtyard.

Fearing that he would be caught, he fabricated a false story in front of his sons and the police about his death due to illness and dizziness. When the police interrogated, it was found that his two sons aged 14-15 years were also in the house on the night of the incident. After having dinner, both the sons slept in another room. Due to this, he did not even know about his mother’s murder. When the sons asked about their mother in the morning, the father told them about her illness and that she had fallen due to dizziness. He told the same story to the police also. Police station in-charge Devesh Singh Rathore told that the woman was married about 18 years ago. His two daughters are married and both sons have also grown up, so no one suspects his murder. The police also interrogated the sons, when they also denied having any knowledge of the dispute that took place at night. Nevertheless, on the basis of suspicion, postmortem of the woman’s body was conducted, in which the murder was revealed.
