Husband found half dead near wife’s dead body

Janjgir Champa. After a dispute, the husband attacked his wife with a knife. The woman died on the spot. The accused husband also slit his own veins after killing his wife. The accused has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition, where his treatment is ongoing. The incident is from Janjgir Champa police station area.

Actually, today (7 September) at around 1.40 pm, Janjgir police station received information that Jagdish Dewangan, a resident of Sharda Mangalam, attacked his wife with a knife while fighting with her. On this information, when Janjgir police reached the spot, they saw that the door was locked from inside. The police broke the door and entered inside. During this, both the husband and wife were lying unconscious. The police immediately admitted both of them to the district hospital Janjgir for treatment.

The woman died during treatment. The accused is seriously injured, whose treatment is ongoing. In his statement to the police, the accused told that he was the one who committed the crime. After a quarrel with his wife, the accused attacked her with a knife. After the incident, the accused husband tried to commit suicide by cutting his veins with a knife. The accused husband is undergoing treatment, the police is investigating/investigating all the facts.
