Husband fought with a bear to save his wife, seriously injured in the attack

Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai. A bear attacked a Yadav couple who had gone to pluck tendu leaves in Deori village of the district. Both are seriously injured in the attack. The woman has suffered serious injuries in her leg, while her husband who went to save her has also been seriously injured. At present both have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Injured Narendra Yadav told that he had gone to the forest with his wife to pluck tendu leaves. During this time his wife was suddenly attacked by a bear. To save his wife, he also fought with the bear. Both husband and wife were seriously injured in the fight with the bear.

Regarding the matter, Khairagarh SDO Mona Maheshwari said that two villagers were injured in a bear attack while plucking tendu leaves, and are being treated in the government hospital of Khairagarh. The Forest Department has filed a case of loss of life and sent it.
