Husband beats wife badly, injures spinal cord, case registered

Ludhiana: Husband injured his wife’s spinal cord while assaulting her due to a domestic dispute. Who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Taking action, on the statement of Dr. Mandeep Kaur, resident of Bishan Bihar Dugri Phase 3, the Police of Police Station Women Cell has registered a case against her husband Narendra Sood on charges of assault and demanding dowry.

In her statement to the police, Dr. Mandeep Kaur told that she was married to the said accused in the year 2020. Domestic disputes started shortly after their marriage. The said accused started harassing her mentally and physically demanding dowry. Also beaten many times. During this time, the said accused destroyed all her dowry items. While assaulting her, the said accused injured her by hitting her spinal cord.
