Huge shark spotted on Odisha beach

Berhampur: A huge shark was spotted on Sonapur Beach of Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday and a huge crowd had gathered on the spot to have a glance of the sea creature.

According to sources, the huge shark, which is assumed to be around 10-feet long, was found on the beach this morning with some injury marks on its body. However, the local fishermen along with the forest personnel are taking good care of it and trying to send it back to the deep water of the sea.

Usually, sharks are found in very deep inside the sea. However, under what circumstances the elasmobranch fish reached the seashore is yet to be known. Meanwhile, it is suspected that the shark might have landed on the Sonapur Beach after falling in the net of some fishermen.

Several visitors along with some local residents rushed to the spot to see the shark. Besides, they captured one of the rarest moments of their lives in their mobile phones. Some of them also were busy in taking selfie with it to share with others and post on their social medial platforms.
