Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for missile attack on American ship

Sana’a: Yemen’s armed Houthi group claimed responsibility for a missile attack on a US cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sariya gave this information in a statement. “We attacked the American True Confidence ship in the Gulf of Aden with missiles, causing a fire on the ship,” Sariya said in a statement broadcast by Houthi-run al-Masirah TV. “The attack occurred after the ship’s crew rejected warning messages from its navy,” he said.
