Hosiery shop operator selling fake track pants of Under Armor company arrested

Raipur. In the capital, the police have taken major action against those who are selling fake brands of genuine branded clothes and have arrested the operator of a hosiery shop. Police disclosed that Deepesh Gupta, Senior Field Officer (IPR), Netrika Company, Boroli West Mumbai has authorized Netrika Company’s client Under Armor Company to lodge a complaint against those selling counterfeit goods, dated 17.08.2024. A report was lodged in the Golbazar police station on 25 February that fake track pants of Under Armor Company are being sold in Mishra Hosiery Shop located in Ganeshram Nagar under the Golbazar police station area.

Based on the report of the applicant. Yogesh Kumar Kashyap, Police station in-charge Golbazar Hamrah staff, Gawahan, applicant field officer and team of the applicant field officer went to the said shop and conducted a raid and after checking the track pants, the product of Under Armor Company was found to be fake. On which 405 pieces of fake track pants of Under Armor Company, worth about Rs 60,750/- were seized from the possession of Manoj Mishra, the operator of Mishra Hosiery Shop, and crime number 74/2024 section 63, 65 was registered against the accused Manoj Mishra in police station Golbazar. Action was taken by registering the Copy Right Act.
