Hoshiarpur: A soldier’s hand was chopped off in a clash in the village

Hoshiarpur: A soldier’s hand was cut off in a bloody clash in Dasuha’s village Mirpur. The incident was captured on CCTV camera. Balwinder Kaur, wife of injured soldier Harbhajan Singh, said that her husband is employed in the army and was posted in Srinagar. He came home on leave a week ago. In the afternoon, some boys of the village started beating my sister-in-law, who is mentally deranged. When my husband tried to save her, the attackers also attacked my husband. The attackers attacked Harbhajan’s hand with a sword, due to which his hand was cut off. The family took him to Dasuha’s civil hospital, from where the doctors referred him to Hoshiarpur. The soldier’s wife Balwinder Kaur has demanded action from the police against those who attacked her husband.
