Date of Holi Bhai Dooj—
According to the Hindu calendar, the second date of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month is going to start on March 26 at 2:55 pm and it will end on March 27 at 5:06 pm. In such a situation, the festival of Holi Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on Wednesday, 27th March i.e. tomorrow.
Auspicious time of Tilak-
On Holi Bhai Dooj, there are two auspicious times to apply Til to brother, in which the first auspicious time is from 10:54 AM to 12:27 PM, while the second auspicious time is from 3:31 PM to 5 PM. It is being received till 4:00. It is believed that by doing Tilak of brother in auspicious time, brother gets the blessings of long life and also love and strength always remain in the relationship.
Correct method of doing brother’s tilak-
Let us tell you that on the day of Holi Bhai Dooj, first of all wake up in the morning and take bath and wear clean clothes. After this prepare tilak of saffron and red sandalwood. First apply Tilak to Lord Shri Ganesha and then to Lord Vishnu. After this, make the brother sit in the north or east direction and do the tilak. After applying Tilak, feed some sweets to your brother and pray for his long life. After this, definitely give a gift to brother and sister. By doing this one gets the blessings of Lakshmi.
Rules of Holi Bhai Dooj-
On Holi Bhai Dooj, brothers and sisters should not argue or fight with each other. It is believed that doing so weakens the relationship and also increases discord. Do not abuse each other on this day. Do not harbor bad thoughts in your mind. Apart from this, brother must give some gift or money to his sister on this day.
