HMD Barbie Phone launched in India at Rs 7999, Know specs and availability
HMD India has launched the Barbie Phone in India and the device will be available for purchase in the country through the company website. The device costs Rs 7999 in India while the device was unveiled in selected global markets in August 2024.
The HMD Barbie Phone offers a flip design. We get two displays, one on the inner and one on the outer side. The inner display is 2.8-inch while the outer screen is a 1.77-inch QQVGA screen. It outer screen also doubles up as a mirror. The device is offered in single pink colour option and is offered in a pink jewellery box-like case with a pink charging case. The device also features a pink battery along with additional back covers, stickers, beaded lanyard and attachable charms.
The device is shipped in a case that reminds of a jewellery box and it includes a USB type-C cable.
HMD Barbie Phone is powered by a Unisoc T107 SoC that is paired with 64MB of RAM. The onboard storage is 128MB. The onboard storage can be expanded to up to 32GB through a microSD card.
The HMD Barbie Phone offers a S30+ OS with Barbie-themed UI on top. There is a beach-themed Malibu Snake game on the smartphone. The keypad is offered in a Barbie pink shade. When the device is powered on, users are greeted with a ‘Hi Barbie’ tone.
The device features a 1450mAh removable battery that is pink in colour. Connectivity options on the device include 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C connectivity and much more. There is a 0.3 MP rear camera along with LED flash. Dimensions of the device are 108.4mm, 55.1mm and 18.9mm. Weight of the device is 123.5g.
