History will not wait for cheap politics: Minister Thangam Thennarasu
Tamil Nadu तमिलनाडु : Tamil Nadu Finance and Archaeology Minister Thangam Thennarasu has responded by saying that history will not wait for cheap politics.
Minister Thangam Thennarasu’s reaction on Tuesday to Union Minister Shekhawat’s comments on ‘X’ site in relation to Keezhadi excavation:
First they (Central Government) said there is nothing in Keezhadi. Then they transferred the research officer. They said they will not allocate funds. Finally, they put on hold the submitted report for two years. Now they say the evidence is not enough. It is common for them to dismiss the history of Tamils every time. The reasons they find are different.
Even if world scientific studies agree that they are 5,350 years old; they have technology; they are ancient people with advanced civilisation, why is the Central Government of the same country so reluctant to accept it? Is it because of the insatiable thirst to always keep Tamils second class citizens?
Don’t forget. History and its truth will not wait for your cheap politics. They are for the people, they will reach the people. He said that if a cat closes its eyes, will the world become dark?
