Himachal: Governor Shukla released book on de-addiction awareness
Himachal Pradesh: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Wednesday released a book titled ‘Say No to Drugs, Choose Better Life’ at Raj Bhawan. The author of the book is Keshav Ram Lothata, Director, Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti. The book addresses the serious issue of drug addiction and aims to promote awareness. The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Samiti and stressed the need for a collective fight against drug addiction.
He said drug addiction is one of the most dangerous social challenges of our times and such initiatives play an important role in educating and guiding the young generation to lead a healthy and responsible life. Appreciating the efforts of the society, he called upon the youth to support this noble cause. Shimla Mayor Surendra Chauhan and Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal were also present on the occasion.
