Himachal: BJP’s divisional number increased to 171

Himachal Pradesh: BJP state president Rajiv Bindal today announced that the party has increased the number of its organizational mandals in the state from 74 to 171. Bindal said in a statement that the party’s national leadership has approved these mandals. This decision has been taken after the formation of a delimitation committee under the leadership of state general secretary Trilok Kapoor under the guidance of election officer and MP Rajiv Bhardwaj. Bindal said, “The party has increased the number of mandals in Chamba from six to 16, Nurpur from four to 12, Dehra from three to six, Palampur from four to 10, Kangra from four to nine, Kullu from four to 12, Sundernagar from five to 13, Mandi from five to 13, Hamirpur from five to 10, Una from five to 10, Bilaspur from five to eight, Solan from five to 13, Sirmaur from five to 12, Mahasu from five to 13, Shimla from three to six and Kinnaur from three to five. Three mandals will remain in Lahaul and Spiti.”
