Himachal: Agricultural University paid tribute to Major Dhyan Chand

Himachal Pradesh: Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University (CSKHPKV), Palampur celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm. The event was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand. All the constituent colleges actively participated in the three-day event which began on August 29.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Naveen Kumar in his message highlighted that sports and physical fitness are integral parts of the overall development of students. He emphasized that the University gives top priority to promoting a culture of sports and health, as a healthy and active student community is essential for academic excellence and social progress. The event was organized by the Students Welfare Association and the sports complex of the University became a vibrant hub of all activities.
