High Court expressed concern over strikes
Lucknow: Allahabad High Court has expressed deep concern over the lawyers’ strike. The High Court made strong remarks and reprimanded the lawyers and sought answers from the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council.
A division bench of Acting Chief Justice MK Gupta and Justice Kshitij Shailendra, while hearing a PIL filed by a person named Jang Bahadur Kushwaha, said, “Courts are not like industrial establishments where strikes can take place. The wheels of justice stop due to non-working of advocates.” Stops.”
Case raised from Ballia
The High Court has expressed concern over the repeated strikes and disruption in court functioning in Rasra tehsil of Ballia district. The Court said that the strike stops the wheels of justice, which gives pleasure to the enemies of justice.
Answer sought from Bar Council
During this, the court said that the strike of workers in industrial establishments can be justified. But when it comes to court work, such strikes cannot be justified at any cost. The court has sought response from the UP Bar Council regarding the lawyers’ strike.
