High Court employees house stolen, gold and silver jewelery stolen
Bilaspur. Thieves raided the residential colony of Bilaspur and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash from the house of a High Court employee. CCTV video of the theft incident has also surfaced, in which a masked thief is seen stealing the goods. Earlier, the thieves broke the boundary wall of the colony with tools. The matter is of Chakarbhata police station area.
Actually, Santosh Kumar Sahu, living in Rama Valley Colony adjacent to the city, is a typist in the High Court. On Wednesday night he slept with his family after having dinner. When he woke up on Thursday morning, the main gate was open. At the same time, items were scattered in the room. The thieves who broke into the center lock of the main gate stole gold and silver jewelery and Rs 45,000 from the cupboard in the room.
After searching nearby, it was found that the thieves had entered inside the colony by breaking the boundary wall. During this time, the thieves also broke the CCTV camera installed in his house. He has complained about the incident at Chakarbhata police station. Police have registered a crime on this and are investigating the matter.
