Hema Committee Report Legislative Recommendation: 5 people not interested in the matter

Kerala: The High Court has appointed amicus curiae based on the recommendations of the Hema Committee report. Advocate Meeta Sudheendran has been appointed as amicus curiae to assist the court. At present, 26 cases have been taken up on the basis of the Hema Committee report. In 18 of these cases, witnesses have sought adjournments.

The Advocate General also told the court that the three replied that they did not remember that the five had given a statement that they did not want to proceed. Justice A.K. Jayasankaran Nambiar, Justice CS. Sudha’s bench appointed amicus curiae. The court said that the work of the Special Investigation Team is in the right direction and the draft recommendation given by the WCC can be considered. The case will be heard again on November 21
