Heat wave hits 6 places in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu: Temperatures exceeded 100 degrees Fahrenheit at six places, including Paramathi, Vellore, Erode, Vellore, and Madurai.
A press release issued by the Meteorological Department on Friday stated: Heat wave continues to intensify in Tamil Nadu, with the highest temperature recorded on Friday at 105.8 degrees Fahrenheit in Paramathi, Vellore. Erode – 104.36, Vellore – 103.82, Madurai Airport – 102.2, Namakkal, Trichy – 101.66 each, Coimbatore, Madurai – 101.12 degrees Fahrenheit each. Temperatures will rise: According to this, temperatures exceeded 100 degrees Fahrenheit at six places in Tamil Nadu on Friday. Maximum temperatures will remain slightly higher in some places in interior Tamil Nadu until April 14.
Rainfall Expectations: A low-pressure area extends from interior Odisha to the Gulf of Mannar, across southern Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, and interior Tamil Nadu, extending over northern Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas at an altitude of about 0.9 km. Consequently, isolated light rain is likely over western hill districts and adjoining districts on Saturday (April 11).
On Sunday (April 12), isolated light rain is likely over southern Tamil Nadu, western highlands districts, and adjoining districts. From April 13 to 14, isolated light rain is likely over western highlands districts, delta districts, and Karaikal. It is reported that Chennai and suburban areas will remain cloudy on Saturday.
