Headmaster suspended for making students stand to welcome politicians

Surajpur. Headmaster Ram Singh has been suspended in connection with the incident of students welcoming politicians at the Ganeshpur Primary School in the district. Ram Singh is currently posted at the school. The DEO’s investigation committee report found negligence on the part of the headmaster and other concerned lecturers.

The report states that welcoming the Congress leader during regular school hours was a serious lapse on the part of the school management. Furthermore, students were made to chant slogans demanding the protection of Hasdev, which was considered inappropriate for the education system and the school environment. Based on the investigation report, a letter has been sent to the government recommending action against the lecturers.

The entire incident took place in Surajpur district, Chhattisgarh. District President Shashi Singh had schoolchildren stand on the road to welcome Congress leader Vikrant Bhuria. Furthermore, in addition to making the students welcome the leader during school hours, they were also made to chant slogans demanding the protection of Hasdev. A video of this entire incident is now rapidly going viral on social media.
