Haryana: IAS, HCS officers will get training on new criminal laws

Chandigarh: Taking a proactive step towards the effective implementation of three new criminal laws, the Haryana government has decided to organise an online training programme for all Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers of the state.
The one-day session, to be held on June 20, aims to familiarise the officers with the nuances of these laws. From July 1, the country will witness the implementation of three new criminal laws: Indian Justice Code, 2023, Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023 and Indian Evidence Act, 2023. Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad highlighted that the training will be organised by the Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurugram and it is mandatory for IAS and HCS officers to attend it.
