Haryana: Capacity building programme

Ambala: As an initiative of AI awareness programme, GMN College organised a one-day capacity building programme on ‘Basics of Artificial Intelligence’ at Government (PG) College, Ambala Cantonment. Dr Ajit Singh, Principal, Government (PG) College encouraged the students to attend the session with full enthusiasm. Faculty of GMN College including Dr Prableen Kaur, Dr Geeta Kaushik and Dr Bharti Sujan interacted with the students of PG College and shared their expertise. The programme was designed for BCA final year students, with around 70 participants in attendance. The programme was aimed at enhancing the participants’ understanding of fundamental AI concepts, applications and future career prospects. It aimed to familiarise the students with fundamental AI concepts, applications and future career prospects in the field. The programme included interactive lectures and a Q&A session to ensure active participation of the participants. Faculty from the Department of Computer Science were also present during the session. Yamunanagar: Seth Jai Prakash Polytechnic, Damla organised Talent Show-2025 which showcased the artistic and cultural talent of the students. Various performances like Bhangra, solo singing, solo dance, group dance, Saraswati Vandana, poetry recitation and patriotism were presented in the programme which left the audience spellbound. Principal Anil Kumar emphasised on the importance of extra-curricular activities in personality development and encouraged the students to pursue their passion with dedication. The success of the programme was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the staff members who mentored and guided the students in preparing for their performances. The talent show concluded on a grand note with the students receiving appreciation for their talent and efforts.
Inter-district level science exhibition
Hisar: Inter-district level science exhibition was organised at Government College, Hansi. Chief guest former Principal of Government College PS Rohilla and the jury members observed the models displayed by the students of various faculties from different colleges and appreciated the art of the students and motivated them to keep participating in such exhibitions in future as well. 160 students of seven subjects from a total of 20 colleges of Hisar, Sirsa and Fatehabad districts participated in the science exhibition. The participants of the teams securing first, second and third positions were given certificates and cash prizes by the chief guest. The winning participants securing first position will participate in the state level science exhibition to be held at Government College Karnal on 21 and 22 February. The chief guest in his address stressed the importance of such events to encourage the students. Principal of the college Dr. Pavitra Mohan gave the example of Alexander Fleming who discovered penicillin and Mary Quarry who discovered radium.
