Harish Rao Slams Congress Government For Retirement Benefits

Former minister and BRS deputy floor leader Harish Rao criticized the Congress government for looking down on employees. He said that Revanth Reddy brought government employees who had worked hard for 35 years and retired onto the roads. He said that he had promised to give pending DAs before the elections… but CM Revanth Reddy did not feel like giving the money that the employees had saved.
Harish Rao supported the hunger strike launched by the Retired Employees Association at Ambedkar Square in Siddipet district headquarters demanding payment of dues of retired employees and teachers. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that Revanth Reddy is not in the mood to give the money saved by the employees. He was angry that when the retired employees asked him to pay the dues of ten thousand crores, he cut me and said that he did not have the money. He said that he had called tenders for 96 thousand crores of works and was ready to demolish 10 thousand houses by spending Rs. 1.5 lakhs for the development of Musi.
Harish Rao questioned that big contractors are paid money, and in other states they are given money for elections but not to employees. He was angry that money is given to those who give commission but not to employees who do not give commission. He said that 60 people died without receiving retirement benefits and Revanth Reddy was responsible for their deaths. He said that Revanth Reddy will open his eyes if more lives are lost. He said that benefits were given to retired employees within a month during KCR’s rule. He said that 92 thousand employees retired during KCR’s rule and they were paid immediately.
Harish Rao was furious that the Education Commission report was meant to insult teachers. He questioned whether there was money to transport water from Mallanna Sagar to Musi but there was no money to give to retired employees. He was furious that farmers were not given money and women were cheated by being promised Mahalakshmi. He made it clear that he would fight in the Assembly as the voice of the employees and ensure that justice is done for them. He said that the credit for bringing the employees to the road goes to Revanth Reddy. He called on the employees to unite and fight against the government. They demanded that Revanth Reddy should allocate ten thousand crores of that for retired employees if they are giving a budget of 3 lakh crores.
