Hari Babu Kambhampati to take oath as Odisha’s new Governor on January 3

Bhubaneswar: New Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati will be sworn in on January 3, 2025. The sworn in ceremony will take place at the Abhishek Hall of Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar of Odisha.

As per reports, the new Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati will be administered the oath by the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court on January 3.

Hari Babu Kambhampati is the newly appointed Governor of Odisha. He replaced Raghubar Das, who resigned as the Governor of Odisha. Prior to this appointment, Kambhampati served as the Governor of Mizoram from July 2021 to December 2024.

Born on June 15, 1953, in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, Kambhampati has a strong educational background, having completed his B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. from Andhra University.
