Happy Birthday Madhuri Dixit: 5 films for which she received Filmfare Awards

As the Dancing Diva of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit turns 58, her fans and celebrities have poured in heartfelt messages wishing her on her Birthday. Proud mother to two sons Arin and Ryan, even painter MF Hussain was mesmerised by her.
She started her film journey with Abodh in 1984. The next few films tanked at the box office but she rose to fame with 1998 film Tezaab. Following that she gave several hits and received six Filmfare Awards including one Filmfare Special Award for completing 25 years in the Industry. Dil (1990)
Starring opposite Aamir Khan under the direction of Indra Kumar, the film received 8 nominations with Madhuri winning her first ever Filmfare award.
Beta (1992)
The film is a family drama film again by director Indra Kumar. The story revolves around a devoted son who loves his stepmom unaware of her greed for his wealth. Paired opposite Anil Kapoor, Beta earned Madhuri, her second award.
Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994)
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, she was paired opposite Salman Khan. The film is a romantic drama film under the Rajshri Productions Banner. The songs, the film and even the dog ‘Tuffy’ are still popular among the masses.
Dil To Pagal hai (1997)
A musical romance drama by Yash Chopra, it stars Shah Rukh Khan and Karishma Kapoor besides Dixit. The film has a running time of 3 hours and earned her another award.
Devdas (2002)
She won a Filmfare award for the best supporting role for the film. Playing the role of a courtesan named Chandramukhi who falls deeply in love with Shah Rukh Khan aka Devdas, she did an impressive act in the film.
