Had gone out for a walk, dead body of teenager found in pond

Raigarh. A child died due to drowning in the pond located in Vijaypur of the city. After receiving information about the incident, the police have established a track and taken the matter under investigation. The said case is of Chakradhar Nagar police station area. According to the information, Roshan Jaiswal, 16, a resident of ITI Colony under Chakradhar Nagar police station area, had gone to his acquaintance’s place in Vijaypur on Thursday afternoon.

The child had left after telling his family that he was going for a walk. After he did not return till late in the evening, when the family members traced the young man, they came to know that he had gone from Vijaypur to the pond to take bath to get relief from the increased heat, since then he was not seen. After which the family members reached near the pond in search of him and found his clothes lying on the pond. A search was carried out in the surrounding area and later the pond was searched and the child was found in the pond. After receiving information about this incident, Chakradharnagar police registered a case and handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem.
